FAQ

  • My current rate for both individuals and couples therapy is $185 for a 50-minute session.

  • If you aren’t able to make it to a scheduled session, I ask that you let me know as soon as possible. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be billed at the full session rate. I am flexible in case of sickness and emergencies! Please keep in mind that insurance does not reimburse or cover late-cancel fees.

  • I accept all major credit cards as well as HSA/FSA accounts. I use the platform Simple Practice to charge any of the above.

  • I am currently in network with Aetna

  • Oftentimes, therapy may be covered by your insurance as an out-of-network benefit. Before meeting with me, I encourage you to reach out to your insurance company to verify benefits such as out-of-network coverage, reimbursement, and number of sessions provided, as this can vary between providers and plans. If you are able to use out-of-network benefits, you will be responsible for the full fee and then I will provide you with a superbill that you will submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

  • My recommendation is to call your insurance provider directly and ask the following:

-Is Naomi Kidder, LPC, an in-network provider?

-What is my copay for each session?

-What is my annual deductible and how much have I spent towards my deductible so far?

-If Naomi Kidder is not in network with my insurance, what percent will you cover per session? What percentage is my responsibility?

-Are there any limits on how many sessions I can have with Naomi Kidder?
